Privacy Policy
Draft document — requires owner review
This is a general-purpose privacy policy draft prepared for a small Australian trade-services website. It is not legal advice, and should be reviewed (and updated where needed) by the business owner — and, if in doubt, a qualified professional — before this page is relied upon.
Who we are
This website is operated by Mr Splashback Ace, a splashback and tiling contractor based in Baldivis, Western Australia, Australia.
Information we collect
When you submit the Request a Quote form on this website, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the service you're enquiring about, your project timeframe and a description of your project.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide a quote;
- communicate with you about your project; and
- keep records of enquiries and jobs for our own business purposes.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How your information is handled
Quote form submissions are sent by email using a third-party email delivery service (Resend). That provider processes the message on our behalf in order to deliver it to our inbox and to send you a confirmation email. We do not store form submissions in a database on this website.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or tracking cookies unless and until they have been deliberately configured by the business (for example, Google Analytics or Vercel Web Analytics). If analytics tools are enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and why.
Disclosure of your information
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except where necessary to operate this website (such as our email delivery provider) or where required by law.
Access and correction
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details on our Contact page.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how your personal information has been handled, please contact us first using the details on our Contact page. Under Australian privacy law, you may also have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
